Omega Writers can’t wait to see you at our 2017 Omega Writers Conference, 27-29th October at Edmund Rice Conference Centre, Mulgoa. Why you say? You won’t want to miss the opportunity to be taken to a new level as our keynote speaker Margie Lawson’s contagious energy leads you on a journey of unique and practical tactics on how to craft a page turner.
If that’s not enough you may want to google Alex Marestaing, an LA-based YA writer who’s career kicked off writing for Disney. Yes, no joke, he is coming too.
Surround these two spectacular international authors with seven home-grown talents, in three specific genre streams of Fiction, Non-Fiction and YA/Children’s, and we have a cracker of a weekend for you. Oh, did I mention we are having publisher and editor stalls with multiple appointments just waiting for you to sign up when you get to conference, not to forget the host groups that will provide support and guidance as you navigate your way through this maze of inspiration and motivation.
Registrations open on 15th June at omegawriters.org. Cost will be between $300 and $395 dependant on when you register, type of accommodation you choose and how many meals you are there for.
An airport shuttle will be available for all interstate visitors at a cost of $35 each way.
With June only 7 weeks away there is no time to waste. With this much talent and teaching, accommodation will book fast. Choose to invest in yourself and your writing and mark the 15th June registration date in your diary now, ready for an unforgettable weekend on the 27-29th October.
